Swiftlock Flooring System

Hey all,

I'm installing a Swiftlock floating floor in a 5x10 half bath this weekend. Its a concrete slab with linoleum glued to it. I'm planning on going over it with 2 sheets of moisture barrier before laying the new floor.

I've never done one of these yet so any advice or helpful tips would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Re: Swiftlock Flooring System

Finished it up tonight, it really wasn't too bad. Some of the pieces were a PITA to lock together just because of clearance issues. It helps to plane some of the lip off where they lock together if you're in a trouble spot and then just use a little wood glue to help hold it together.

We'll see how well she holds up.

Day late here butmy advice would have been to choose a different floor.

Thanks for the feedback even if it was a little late.

It is just a half bath with no shower/tub so it shouldn't be that bad but we'll see.
