scratch resistant polyurethane

What is the most durable (scratch resistant) polyurethane available to refinish residential hardwood floors? I'm looking to do my own home (50yr old red oak) and I have two big dogs that tear up the floor. Is there anything that will survive?

two big dogs tearing up the floor? only solution I can think is keeping them outsite..WI is cold..getting rid of them?Leaving the floors as it is?
