If it is standard VCT the cost of installation is about $3 a foot. Speciality VCT can be as high as $6.

though it's been a long time since i have done a large vct job it seems i could get about 2000 ft in a day, thats of course with the floor ready.

How about getting a little more specific.

Are we going to pretend that "minor prep" means whatever the stupidintendent for the general contractor thinks it means or are there really some legitimate means of estimating that ugly expression?

How many pipes and irregular or angular, scribe fit walls are there to be fit?

How many scissor lifts, temporary power boxes, extension cords, gang boxes, ladders and stacks of drywall are in the room at 6AM when I show up?

Where's the F'n blueprint?

VCt insttallation is about$.50 a sq. ft for jobs 2-3000 sq. ft. and under. For Larger areas, 4-20,000 sq. ft. can go as low as $ .35 sq. ft. I think this is close to the national average.

What should i charge to just install about a1000sf of vct,all materials provided,no prep work required,im just the labour?I've been working for myself installing ceramic tile,but this is new to me,could really use some good advice.Someone else has bid on the job and offered the installation to me.
