Planks show the most expansion of any woodfloor. Heat in the home in the winter will shrink it, Air conditioning in the summer will shrink it. I would try to keep your home around 55% relative humidity at all times or just live with the seasonal gaps. I would not fill them with anything. If you fill it with a soft puddy, this will squeeze out later and be tracked everywhere. If you fill it with somthing hard, you will risk the wood cupping, crowning or havin alot of crumling pieces come out that may scratch the surface when walking on.
