New trends in Hardwood Flooring

So???? Do you guys see any new trends in the area of hardwood flooring? Stains, finishes, Bamboo, exotic, hand scraped, distressed? What do you see coming down the pipe this year?

I see more exotic woods coming, and alot more carpet being ripped out.

S-O-S around here, not that i'm complaining. We've been doing a lot of eko wood installs for prefinish. I've also been seeing more people getting away from staining, and finding a wood that comes closest to the color they want.

The trends are running to each end of the spectrum. Expect to see a lot more low end dog crap wood on the market in addition to a lot of really nice high end stuff. The in between is getting more and more scarce.
