New Stair Treads Over Old Cutback
Hello, I need some advice for installing new johnsonite stair treads on steel, open steps with cutback? now adhering existing vinyl treads.
Can I encapsulate with ardex all the existing mastic? or do I need to remove some mastic then encapsulate? The steps are 7ft wide and flex slightly. about 90 stairs. Thanks for any help |

Try a bond test with your proposed adhesive. See if it sticks.
