Need Some Ideas Please

I have a potential client who built a green room (the kind for shooting TV commercials and such) inside their lighting equipment rental warehouse last winter. They used 4x8 sheets of masonite, double faced taped to the concrete floor. They duct taped the seams and painted the entire surface green. Worked fine until humidity came into the picture. Now they are poping up all over. Trying to figure out a way to adhere them better or perhaps use a different product that would hold up under heavy traffic (that can be painted) and be fairly easy to remove later. It is a leased space so they do not want anything permanent. I have a couple of ideas, but would appreciate any suggestions.

Need more info. What type of traffic? A lot of furniture movement? What kind of weight/point loads?

The heaviest piece of equipment used in the area would be a scissor lift. They weigh around 3000lbs.

lay two layers of ply / osb in opposite direction to each other then screw both layers together making a raft or floating floor. then put top layer of smooth material to be painted.

i would not use less than two layers of 1/2in ply but 3/4 would be a lot better.

Thanks, I ran that by him, but now he wants to just glue the exsisting masonite to the floor and deal with removal and his deposit later. I told him in that case, scrap it all and paint the concrete green.
