Hey guys. I need to know how long I have to let a new slab cure before I can cover it with marmolium. Thanks.

Till the slab passes a calcium chloride moisture test and no sooner.
I can tell you from experience that Marmoleum WILL FAIL if it goes over a wet slab.

Yeah Mike, to me hard surface = more money/less labor intensive. I do envy the rug guys when I see them bang out a big new construction job and are home by 2 though.

Thanks, That's what I figured. I'm a general doing a large kitchen remodel. We need to remove a couple walls and that means transferring the load down to the basement. Down there I need to put a new 4' by 4' footing right in the middle of the floor where they already have marmolium. Replacing that piece is not enough to get one of you guys out there for but not my area of expertise. Thanks for the info.

Yeah but I can also lay out 300 ft Laminate job by noon sometimes and at 2 bucks a foot its better than bangin in 150 yds of rag!

Shhh! Thats a secret I had one a couple of weeks ago that was almost too good to be true. 1100 ft of Columbia in a hair salon. Laid it in 9 hours, over 2 grand NET with two helpers.

Yep every now and then ya get one. Mine was right before Christmas. It was an Art gallery on Newbury St in Boston, 1600 ft in a day and a half (one big room!) 1 helper, after the 200 bucks in friggin parking tix the 3200 bucks was cool.
Hair Salon huh? Lots of moisture.

I ripped out 1100 ft of it that failed(buckled somthing awfull due to no expansion room and it getting soaked in too many areas) I didnt do the origional install, it was over a slab.

After some research and some hair dye tests I ended up going with Knight Tiles Vinyl strip plank. So far so good!
