Loose Vinyl

Heh everyone:
A fellow installer I work with, installed some vinyl over VCT and it came loose in some spots. I was asked to take care of it without cutting it open. Well, I haven't discussed it with the customer yet, but I'm sure she's not going to be happy to see seams she didn't expect. The other night, I came up with the idea of using a spray adhesive, by cutting a slit in the vinyl and spraying it in between the floor and vinyl....any suggestions or comments? Thanks for your help!

Re: Loose Vinyl

Thx for the hint, I do have such a seringe, but the problem is, it has to be almost just a mist of adhesive due to the constricted space between the floor and the vinyl flooring. I'm doing test strips with a spray adhesive I picked up at the hardware store.

Re: Loose Vinyl

Inject it with the same adhesive that was used to install it (hopefully a premium sheet goods glue or at least a multi-purpose) heat it, and roll with a hand roller.
