Re: Laminate Flooring

The easiest layouts I charge $2/ft. That doesn't include undercutting doorjams, transitions, prep or anything. Just installing click laminates. Jobs with more cuts or odd angles get raised accordingly.

Re: Laminate Flooring

I charge $3.00 for basic install, the way that box stores do it, all inclusive. Like Don, it goes up from there.
IMHO, shoe mould screams 'new flooring installed at cheapest price.'. It looks especially bad with 'modern' profile base. Try to sell a trim package with the flooring. A base and case pkg. can really set the room off. If you already have a decent base (5-1/4+), try to sell a compound mould. Anything is better than 1/4 round.

Re: Laminate Flooring

Dang Teeter, now I feel cheap. HD here charges $1.99 for basic install, the sad part is installers are doing it for $1/ft. and even less. I'd rather flip burgers for that money.
