Re: Installing Tile On Existing Tile

i dont understand where is the joke here and what is so scary, i am supplying my customer with diffrent options,i gave them a option, the proper way to demo the existing tile and install new tile over the existing concret pad or to supply a less expensive alternative so i dont lose the job but as long as they have both options, if i dont give them options another contractor will, so again what is the profesional procedure here from my research it is my undertsnading to sand or use a stripper to remove the glue, then the tiles need to be scouffed to allow the thinset to adhere to the tile subfloor,

The above is the key. The professional procedure is to demo, level and lay new.

Cheap options are for hacks, explain this to the HO. Do it right or don't do it at all.
