I Much Prefer 3 1/4" Or Wider Hardwood!

I'm doing a hardwood flooring job today with 2" wide brazilian cherry boards. Why do some people prefer the narrow planks to the wider ones? I hate installing this because it takes so much longer, inching forward, and it's harder to rip them in the table saw. Next time I'm gonna charge extra...one and a half times extra
Sorry, my back and knees are sore and my nose is plugged up from the dust and I'm allergic to their stupid cat that kept bugging me.
Just a little venting, I feel better now

You need to get them one of those new $4000.00 hypo allergenic cats.

Think about how the guys that install bowling alleys must feel, installing little 1" wide strips.

You don't charge more now, for narrow strip over wide plank?? Sounds like you learned sumpn' today I have been charging extra for the skinny stuff since my second job....and I still hate it. I did some 4" Brazillian cherry the other day, man that was the cat's ass compared to the typical 2 1/4 " oak strip that seems to be the run of the mill around here.

Yeah I agree, that bzcherry dust sucks...stuff kills a saw blade but quick too.
