How To Edge Carpet At Radius Abutting Hardwood

I've installed hardwood and carpet several times, but have an upcoming job where I need to make a series of radii ("S")at the end of a hall into the dining room with the hardwood and edge to existing carpet, any pointers on how to match-up or edge the carpet? I'll probably just end up cutting the carpet back with a good foot or so of slack, roll it back, and sub the edging, but would rather do it myself.

Options;
Z Bar,
Buy a carpet stapler & edging material,
Depending on the size of the S & how handy you are with a router, you could custom make a transition piece,
Or did I miss something???

Uh... This is carpet & wood 101. Very basic stuff.

The question is, what look are you going for??
