Understood. Pics of flooring can be difficult to take, a lot of light bouncing around.

The cust. is happy, you are happy, everything's good.

Since you are a remodeler, you probably own several routers already, so invest in a decent set of T & G router bits, the two bit set, not the ones you have to keep resetting. Put them in a couple of routers , mill all the pieces as you make them, and eliminate the possibility of a faux paux.... much easier than a repair job.

Splines are a PITA. Corner biscuits are most effective on small boards (6" or less), they will tie 4 corners together. Pre-fit, use glue or epoxy and go like H.

I hear thee!

I took of all the trim because it was beat to hell and it looked anything than Oriental in style. I showed her some weave stuff I saw at Lowes and she loved it for the casing and used a rather plain five inch angle edge for the base. Finished up today. Glad to be done, too!

When you cut all those pieces that were the same size, did you do them all at once or did you go on a row by row bases
