Hairline Cracks In New T&G Maple

I recently hired a pro to install 1800 sq. ft. of 2 1/4" T&G flooring w/Swedish finish. It has been six months since the installation, and I've noticed that very thin hairline cracks have appeared randomly - not many, but a few. Is this to be expected?

Thanks.

Cracked individual boards?
Or gapping between boards?

It is called "check marks", it appears on maple specially, as long as just a few, it is normal and like james pointed, will disappear.
