greenwood flooring

I am starting an installation of Greenwood Bammboo Flooring in a 7000 sqft penthouse in destin florida. I have never installed this product before and was wondering if any one is familiar with it. It is a laminated bamboo but all layers are bamboo. The manufacture states that it is to be installed as if it were solid flooring. The installation is on the 18th floor but right on the water. I properly cleaned and leveled the floors and laid down MVP as an added precaution. Although that may be over kill since all the space beneath the penthouse is heated living space. I just don't need any problems. It seemed like cheap insurance considering the combined cost of the job. So if anyone has used this product let me know if the are any quirks about this product that I need to be aware of.

What thickness? What adhesive are you using? I don't have any experience with that particular brand, but I have laid a fair amount of bamboo. You are right to be overly cautious. Few bamboo products are what I would call high end. You will know as soon as you start whether it is or isn't. Only use a mc urethane adhesive (I like Bostick's Best). If nailing it, take the time to set up your gun right as it will be too late once you realize you have a problem. I have not found a product yet that doesn't require me to shim my Bostich MIII. Other nailers may be different idk.

it is 5/8 thick with bamboo cross ply. Horizontal grain. I am using bostics best. If price is any indicator this is extremely high end. Whole sale was 11.00 sqft. It seem to be a good product. milling is true and board fit nicely. the flooring is 6 inch by 6 foot.

I can't stand Bostik's BEST!!! The trowel ridges slump, like the MVP does, Meaning, you better make sure the concrete is as flat as a pane of glass. 3/16 in 10, no longer applies. It better be 1/16 in 10!!!!

I like Bostik's BST, a lot better.

What I recently got a chance to use and it was sweet, was the new Mapei PlaniSeal WFM, which is almost exactly like Bostik's, MVP. It slumps a lot better then MVP.
I also got a chance to use the Mapei 990 adhesive. Worked sweet.

Although I have not had a chance to play with that particular board, all bamboo is very unforgiving where swings in rH are dramatic between seasons, or if they travel a lot and let the interior green house.
