gluedown hallway

got a question, I need to lay carpet to our condo hallway.going to be glue down. its about 60 ft +/- two floors 3 doors each side. My question is would you lay it out sideways with seams every 12 ft or would you go longer w/ a butt seam or 2.
I was a floorlayer for 6 years went through the apprentice program. but I have been roofing for about 7 or 8 years and cant quite remember layout. to many beers in the purple haze i guess.
BTW there are 6 flights and a few landing's as well which will be over pad.
any help would be much appriciated

For best results, I'd do it in ONE long shot.

If you put seams in the hall, side seams will come out better then a head seams, but there will be more of them.

SEAM SEAL ALL SEAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do Not Skimp and not seal the seams. You will be sorry later if you fail to seal the seams. Use the proper trowel notch, too! 1/8 x 1/8 x 1/8 trowel notching.
