Flooring gouges

I have a rental property on the beach that I maintain that a tenant pulled a broken sofa across and left severe gouges about six foot long in the hardwood floors. I have tried a hot iron on it and it did help some but the owner would like it to look a little better. Other than the hot crayon filler or replacement does anybody have any ideas? Thanks for your imput.

I suggest using a Timber mate or Dura Seal filler.
They can fill cracks, gouges and imperfections in your hardwood floor.
Both of these fillers are stain able, making it easy for them to be stained in the exact color needed.

I suggest burn in fill sticks.

what kind of wood is it? what kind on finish are you working with; satin , semi, distressed?
We do insurance jobs all the time when painters & plumbers damaged floors in front of fridges, just cut the bad wood and replace.
