How's $945 worth of software sound to ya? Saw one of those just a few days ago. Do a search and see what comes up, they're out there.

Re: Flooring Estimate Programs

tape measure - $10
stack of your own custom estimate forms / contracts - $200

learning how to estimate a job using a square footage method - priceless

Re: Flooring Estimate Programs

Shawn, A software program for the floor covering ,tile and stone industry is listed in Tile Magazine. The company is Dancik International. I know nothing about this program but you may want to take a look.
I am not allowed to post the url so you may have to search for it.

Re: Flooring Estimate Programs

Thanks for the info. Does anyone have any bid/layout sheets that they use on the job? A graph of some sort to put your measurements and all so you can work out a figure? Thanks again for the info. This site is great.

Re: Flooring Estimate Programs

Shawn,

Staples sells "Job Invoices" and "Proposals" that have carbon copies.
You can get a stack of 100 for like $15.
And they'll look more professional than an excel or word format that you copied from ABC contracting

We have a local printing company print custom proposals that our lawyer wrote up, but they're triple the price of the staples ones.
But they have all the good fine print stuff that helps if people try to pull out of a contract or stiff ya.
