Fan Removal Obs 18.

Anyone have any tips on removing the fan plate from an obs-18? I went to my local parts supplier and they said remove the snap ring, wd-40 it and pry it off. It doesn't feel like it wants to budge at all and I don't want to break the plastic fan assembly. Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Brian
