Question

Edge Flooring

Anyone heard of edge flooring?

It's a ceramic laminate combination floor. Solid ceramic, granite, or marble tile on the top, and it's basically attached to small panels, or squares, which are pressboard click-n-lock system that connect to each other. It's touted as being very 'do-it-yourselfer' friendly. It's still installed with grout, which is acrylic based, versus being concrete based.

I talked to my Flooring sales rep for the area, and he said he hasn't had many problems with it, other than the floor HAS TO BE LEVEL.

Just wondering if anyone else has had major issues with this floor, or if they absolutely love it, anything I should know, etc.

The website for it is edgeflooring.com.

Re: Edge Flooring

Absolute crap. Anyone who has been in the flooring trades longer than a year knows this. Look into Congoleum Duraceramic if you are looking for a tile look that is a lttle easier to install and is warm underfoot.
