Does Anyone know..

Does Anyone know the Number 1 country for Exotic Hardwoods ? I researched into some South American and Asian countries, but are there any other areas where Hardwood species are numerous. I know that in China there is a large resource of Bamboo species, but is it of access to everyone ? Just trying to see if there are some local or less commercial areas for Hardwood resources, I feel like every hardwood company in North America is supplied by the same manufacturer, so it's best to start looking for some alternatives since I'm trying to start my own unique line of Exotic hardwood Style and Species - also is Bamboo Hardwood a separate category from Exotic hardwood, or does it all fall under Exotic ?

Bamboo isn't hardwood.
Bamboo is grass.

I get the majority of mine from Brazil. I can't be more precise on area or COO (Country Of Origin) but Africa has a good variety but thats from a bunch of different countries not just one.

I don't do bambo. I prefer wood. As for those of you who argue it's green, ask yourself what it's being held together with.
