If you have to ask, then it's not too low. Good luck with your job.

Either DIY'er, or someone that is just getting started as his own business.

How long do you feel this job will take you?
How much is the cost of materials going to cost you?
Are you going to mark-up the materials to make up for your time, ordering, along with shipping and handling time and fuel?
What is your overhead costs? (Fuel to and from, storage, pay the help, special tools, tool maintenance, vehicle maintenance, insurance, *not just on your vehicle, either... etc.)

Add, deducted and add, to figure what your company needs to bank to stay in business, along with paying you a living wage your comfortable with.
The business has to have profit to stay in business.

@ $700, I would not make very much profit if any, and also make a very low living, or should I say unlivable wage. Basically, I couldn't afford to accept that job, and stay in business. But your cost of doing business may be much lower than mine

I think I could set up the tools in about 1 hr lay the shower by lunch time.Have the floor down by 3.30 be cleaned up by 4.15 .Next day have coffee @ 745 start groughting by815 done by lunch . 11/2 days work = 450. cheep tile ?$2 per foot 270 + grought 30,sealer22 tax , fuel 75 bucks, X 30% = price now you can get the gravy train for the dog. 1105 is still very cheeeeeeeeeep. My sub would charge 4.50 per foot he brings the glue and thin set. Feed your dog NOW!
