Concrete Sealant - Which?

I'm putting laminate down on a concrete slab (location: North Central Florida, about 80' above the water table based on my well depth).

There will be a moisture barrier/underlayment in place. I've been getting mixed answers to my inquiry about further rolling on a concrete sealant. If the retailer or installer sells the sealant they say insist it should be while others without a financial interest say it isn't really necessary.

So, should I seal the slab as well? if so - what product is recommended?

I have never sealed a slab when installinf lam, so I do not have any recommendations.
But if it helps with the moisture issue, I say "why not?"

I always seal the concrete but the water table around here is only a few feet down. I doubt that you will have any problems if it's down there 80 ft.
It's still cheap insurance. I figure about 1 hr. per coat per 1,000 sq. ft. X 2 coats. The stuff dries fast enough thay by the time you get done with the first, coat,you can start on the second.
In your case, I would say that it's up to you.

The underlayment will negate any vapor transmission issues,provided you install it properly.
