I received a bid request to lay carpet in a 10 x 10 and a 14 x 16 room. I will probably outsource the work, but I need to provide them with a bid ASAP. I don't know the type of carpet. It is in the basement and looks to be cheap but durable. Can anyone give me a ballpark price of what to charge, how much the materials will cost and how much a subcontractor will charge me?
