Buying Hardwood Direct... For Real?
Anyone ever used: www.brazilianhardwood.com They ship out of Delano, PA
There *is* a mill in the town... I'm just wondering (their office is in Quakerstown, PA yet they ship from Delano, PA)... see where I'm going with this? |

Members who try to sell products and/or services to contracting professionals will have their accounts revoked.

No where did I mention selling anything to Pete. He is obviously looking to find some Brazilian Cherry for his home. I can put him in touch with a couple of good local mills, if he is close to me. Just offering some help..
PS. I'm not some new member here, that's spamming the site. Thanks, go grind your axe elsewhere.. |

Re: Buying Hardwood Direct... For Real?
I have posted this to other moderators for their opinions.
Your probably right...if so, they will chime in and I will offer my apologies. Just trying to do my job the best I can.... I can grind wherever I want....sometimes I will make a goof... If this is a case of a goof...then call it my first.... Thank YOU!

Re: Buying Hardwood Direct... For Real?
Yeah, guys... settle down! I'm NOT going to be changing trades. I really enjoy what I do. And to be honest, the fine work that you guys do is not for me when it comes to finish work. I'll do a good job for my own home, but I don't think I could deal with harry-homeowner griping about a tiny scratch that is under a table lamp that HE put there.
This place is pretty good... I'm staying away from the framing forum because I know I won't have time to do my own work if I'm there! |

Re: Buying Hardwood Direct... For Real?
That one operated by Dan Cosgrove, a veteran broker in hardwood flooring ,he has decent products, mostly imported by other importers/suppliers.So do not panic if you get boxes with an other name if you order from there. My experience with him is being fairly good and fair.

Re: Buying Hardwood Direct... For Real?
Only issue I found from the website, is their latest install on the website is from 2006. What have they done since then?
