Hi Guys,
I have done plenty of wood floors and have even done some repairs of wood floors, but I am not sure how I want to tackle this one:
Rental House:
Completely Carpeted w/wood floors under.
Pulled up carpet to expose and refinish the wood floors
Everything is great but one section which is buckled
Evidently, there had been a major water leak in the roof at some point years ago which caused swelling and buckling of one section of the floor in the middle of the living room.
What is the best way to repair this other than to pull up the entire floor?
My initial though is to remove one row and see if I can get the rest to settle back down. If I do that, do I do it in the middle of the buckle or at the edge?
How would you do it?
I have this sinking feeling that I'll be pulling up the entire area.
