Re: Bellawood
The only Bellawood I'm familiar with is, I used to know a chick named Bella, and I think her family was in the lumber biz cause every time she saw me, she wanted to give me wood.

Re: Bellawood
I sell a good amount of brazilian cherry (clear grade, vertical grain, long plank, 3-5") in Massachusetts. Our wholesale prices on unfinished are around $3.75/SF and just under $5.00 for clear grade pre-finished. Just make sure you see a decent number of pieces. There are a few grades of Brazilian cherry floating around out there that will be very inconsistant when down. If your lookinf for a dark consistant floor make sure your looking at a clear grade.

Re: Bellawood
I have had a lot of experience with Lumber Liquidators and I have installed the BellaWood Brazilian Cherry Select 3 1/4" and 5" with absolutely no problems. Brazilian Cherry is a very hard wood and can hold up to pets and kids, etc. I installed some B.Cherry from some closeout store and I cannot remember the brand name but it was horrible junk! After that experience I always tell my customers to pay for the BellaWood since it is warrantied for so long.
I do not like their return policy, that is the only thing I think they should change, at least for contractors. They deal mainly with the general public and should make some accomodations for contractors that have boxes and materials left over. They will tell you straight up 'no returns' but what happens if you need more and run short? They cant guarantee you will get the last couple boxes from the same lot...so I always end up with a box or two left over and that kinda blows. Product is GREAT...return policy-thumbs down. |
