Some of that stuff is gluedown only. Shim the shoe to get more angle, but most likely your trying to use a 15 gauge staple or cleat.

You need a HighPro As4090 staple gun.

What is the material thickness? I have successfully installed some 5/8 with my MIII.....had to shim the foot out with 2 layers of tar paper.
