Bamboo below grade

A potential client went and ordered 120 sq ft of bamboo she wants installed over a slab in her new condo, below grade. There's 1/4 tile that's staying and has to be tied in. Is gluing it going to be a disaster in the long run? Otherwise her floor level comes up over an inch above the tile....
Help?

Thanks for all the help guys? Where'd all the experts go? Know what? I did it anyway. Leveled the concrete slab, and glued using Bostik's best. Looks great, client's happy, and let's hope we don't get another brutal winter.

Sorry, I know nothing about bamboo. I'll NEVER use it but that's a personal thingy with me.
