Atomic DCS Bona

Hey Guys:

I was wondering what you guys thought about the "new?" Atomic DCS Bona system...it looks pretty good to me..but also seems like they may be spending about as much money on advertising and showcasing the product as they may have spent creating it.

I purchased the Oneida Vac System. Space wise, it's a better deal. I got the 2 HP system and it's pretty damn good.

Wow, haven't been here in a while.

I agree w/ Grainywood about the Oneida system. Very good, and smaller. I personally use my own system that works good. When it breaks, I plan on getting the Oneida.

My opinion on the Atomic DCS trailer, its a who's d**K is bigger thing. There are options that are just as good, and most of them smaller.

But the other side (i'm a good debater). If you use a trailer for your sanders, it might be worth it. I could not fit a trailer into some places I work so I would not work for me.

So yeah money to blow, and you work in a place you can manuver your rig all the time, go for it. The ______ (average, normal, word of mouth gets me most of my work) company doesn't really need it.

Re: Atomic DCS Bona

Grainywood thanks for the info on that oneida system it looks very nice and seems to be a great deal cheaper than that bona system. How much do you think a complete setup would cost..including edgers, buffers, and everything else you would need to do a professional refinishing job.

Also I saw Bona does a great job with the stains and those coatings for cracks and everything but than I remembered that just because I wont buy a bona system doesnt mean I cant use all of their stains and sealers lol. Even though maybe they arent even the best?

Re: Atomic DCS Bona

Hey guys:

I have been researching different dust free refinishing systems and I have found one called "Harvester" does anyone know anything about it? I read some good things about it on a different board and the reason I am interested in it is simply put they manufacturer it here in jersey..which would make it much easier for me.

I paid close to $20,000 after all was said and done (in CA you pay double for everything). Awful, but hey, your health is priceless.

That Harvester looks kind of big. Mobility is really key with my work.
