As you know Mike there can be many variables but for here and now.....

You furnish the plumber, the drain assembly, the pan liner.

I supply...the mud components, materials for the curb, labor to fashion the curb, install the preslope mud, install the liner attaching it to the drain, install the shower floor and curb mud.

$450-$550

Thanks BC and R&D! Funny thing R&D, in doing a little research I actually reviewed that exact web posting. Thanks a bunch. I'll have to work on my tiling terminology. I know how frustrating it must be having to decipher what the heck people are trying to ask sometimes, but thanks for sticking with me. I plan on starting in the bathroom middle of next week. Enjoy the weekend!!

SO,

The owner of that website (Harry Dunbar) is a first class tile installer and you could learn a lot just from lurking there from time to time and paying particular attention to comments from guys like Harry and BRI and RandyL, to name a few. Keep in mind though that they are talking Cannuk and some of the terms can be different.

Nope, never seen it done or have done it, seems from talking for years on these Forums, that seems to to be a California thing.
