Acceptible Tolerance On Subfloor?
I just laid some sub floor in my remodel & forgot to check the level of the joists before I did it. One of them was slightly higher. When I lay my 6' level across the high spot I get about 1/8"+/- gap at the end of the level, so 3' from the crown. Will this be noticable once I get the finished flooring down? It's going to be hardwood, either laminate or planed siding from the 107 year old barn on the property, which I have another question about for another post.
Thanks, Dan |

Re: Acceptible Tolerance On Subfloor?
Pop that sheet back up and plane the joist down, problem solved. Btw hardwood specs are generally 1/8" in 8ft.
