9" Vinyl Tiles Over Concrete


Is there a solution [ liquid] to help remove these? Also, do You all use regular floor scrapers? Had the tile sent out to test lab. tiles 2nd generation on 1957 home ,ok. But mastic has some asbestos in it . Also one bedroom is asbestos
9 " original tiles. Thanks for the web site guys. Have the suits,resperators,
goggles and asbestos disposal bags for local waste disposal area.
I will do this with only one of My men. Not going to loose control. Thanks , again for any help,Drift.

Yes!!!! 9x9 VAT is absolutely Asbestos! That is what the A is in VAT.

Keep everything mopped and wet so NO DUST AT ALL is created. An electric floor stripper.
Here you have to have a certification & license in asbestos abatement, to touch the stuff. STIFF FINES!!!

EDIT: I see your in the Bay Area of Cali!!!! You better rethink your liability here!!!!!!! Dude Cali is the EPA's playing ground.

Thanks guy, This Irishman has been walking on ledges for years. As I said I will treat it the same as they would.

Same as they would? You mean you're going to be pulling air samples while you're doing your work, and get clearance testing afterwards? I think you're nuts doing this illegal. The liability is huge.
