We are pleased to announce the brand new Rewards Program on ContractorTalk. You can access the Rewards in the menu button at the top of the site.

This program allows you the opportunity to redeem items with points you earn based on your activities here in the community. Certain actions will give you points and you can then go spend them however you wish - at no cost to you!

How do you earn points?
- New post/reply - 2 pts.
- New thread - 2 pts.
- Referral - 50 pts.
- Blog post - 15 pts.
- Add a product to Product's Page - 15 pts.
- Product review - 15 pts.

What items can you redeem with your points?
- eGift Cards
- Tools
- Forum Perks
- ContractorTalk Merchandise

All items have been assigned points and you are free to choose any of the ones you have enough points to redeem. You can also save your points to use on larger items. It's up to you! Please see the complete list here: https://www.contractortalk.com/rewards/index.php

We have looked at everyone's profile and have decided to award points based on the number of posts you've already made as a member. Below is the scale we used:

1-25 posts = 10 points
26-50 posts = 25 points
51-150 posts = 75 points
151-250 posts = 150 points
251-500 posts = 250 points
500-1500 posts = 500 points
1501-2500 posts = 1000 points
2501 and above = 2000 points

As an added bonus, the system has already been taking note of new posts as of last week. This means that you likely already have more points in your account than this scale suggests.

We will be looking closely at those who post simply to increase their points account. Those users will be subject to being warned, having their points being removed, and being banned depending on the severity of the infraction. This is meant to be a fun way to participate and gain some perks on the site. Abuse will not be tolerated.

If you have any questions on this, please refer to this thread: https://www.contractortalk.com/f45/announcement-contractortalk-rewards-program-coming-soon-147630/ and we will answer as best as we can.
